Calumet SNAP's mission is to help low-income Northwest Indiana residents get their pets spayed or neutered safely and affordably.
Our goal is to end the euthanasia of adoptable animals in the Calumet region by making spay/neuter services affordable for all pet owners.
Here's what we accomplished in 2011!
Female dogs fixed: 162 Female cats fixed: 182 Male dogs fixed: 107 Male cats fixed: 118
In 2011, we prevented an estimated 324 dog and 546 cat litters. These 870 litters prevented offer animal shelters and humane societies around Northwest Indiana a better chance of adoption for all the little ones who still find their way to their doors every day. Thanks to everyone who helped support our mission! If you'd like to be a part of the spay/neuter success story, click here!
